The Rundown: Ursula discovers Tommy is alive and a face from the past might hold the key to rescuing him.

On the other side of the arch, the Crossdraw Kid and Tommy continue their fight. A fight that will leave a trail that will bring Ursula on the scene to investigate. Her investigation will result in a strange sidekick returning with her in the form of Sally Sweet. A sidekick who not only has a gift of gab, but has a story to tell about her time with Adventureman.

Sally is an expert pilot whose father sends her off in his experimental plane along with Adventureman to escape the Nazis. When they are shot down, the pair must survive not only the cold and their injuries, but an impending Nazi attack on their position. Hearing Sally’s story prompts Ursula to bring her to the tower in order to find a way to bring back Tommy and the Crossdraw Kid.

The Story: Fraction crafts a thrilling, fun and engaging adventure throughout this issue. I love the world of Adventureman and every story has new and exciting things to explore both within that world and the characters who inhabit it. I love how the story cuts between the present mystery and how past events inspire the characters as they attempt to solve it. Fraction crafts great story, awesome action and compelling characters.

The Art: Dodson’s art is spectacular. The character designs and world of the story look amazing.
